hope these people are found and justice is served for the person killed. I'd hope at least one of these dudes reforms themselves and eventually works on cutting their own gang ties+ helping others get reformed after that justice. It's fuckin ridiculous that in our city people are still somehow able to be coerced into joining gangs when we should have no problem providing the kind of resources that can completely shut off their recruiting while also fixing the conditions of the communities that the gangs recruit off of.

also unrelated to the crime, every now and then i see one of these posts here and it's by someone outside of the subreddit that never posts here and brings a whole brigade of propagandists trying to push some racist shit. But here, in a natural post by someone who lives in this city it's cool to be reminded that people here are actually more interested in justice/the community than in making this some kind of bullshit against an entire group of people
