wife died august 2019 after a long battle with cancer.
The whole world turned upside down by a pandemic hasnt really helped me mourn, nor figure out how to navigate the social waters of the 21st century, having been out of the game since the late 90s.
My best friend was supposed to wing man me through all of this. My wife spent a year in secret meetings with him as she faded from this world setting up my future for me.
The pandemic got in the way, and when my Vax was ready....We were going to get me back out there! Leaving his house to come get me last year on the 4th of july, My best friend of 30 years had a brain aneurysm in his driveway and died.

So yeah...thats how i ended up single and not looking.
