Those who've had RPL tests or similar, did you take anyone with you?

I see you commented that hospital parking costs is kinda nuts where you are. Is it possible/cheaper for you to park a little further away with cheaper rates, and get a car service to shuttle you between the place and the hospital? That also gives you more time to recover. Or maybe just take a car service to and from the appointment from home?

I haven't had a RLP or clotting factor tests done yet, though I imagine that will be coming up after I'm referred to an RE. I live in a city with an extensive public transportation system so I'm not worried about driving after getting blood drawn, but will likely ask my husband to come with me if he can take the time off. If he can't, and so long as there aren't any rules about requiring an escort home, I'll likely just go on my own rather than try to recruit a friend or family member. Nobody aside from the other guy in my department at work knows about my losses, and I'm not ready to broadcast this info just yet.
