I thought avoiding the NICU meant we were in the clear. Experiencing delays now and looking for support

Hey mama just remember each kid reaches milestones at a different pace. Some kids walk early and talk late. Some kids choose not to speak. 20 hours a week sounds like really intense especially for kids so young. I mean i would think one hour two times a week per child would be adequate. My first born only child with a mom who worked in childcare and she didnt start speaking until she was three. We got private speech at 4 yrs old into 5 years old and just now at almost 7 graduated from speech. She was physically advanced and still is for her age. A go getter if ya will. My twins are uttering more words at almost 2 then she was at 3 going on 4. Way to go being so proactive. But dont work yourself to death trying to do all the things. They will get it. O have a niece who started walking at 18 months and talking at 2 ish. I have a mom friend whos child is potty training at 16 months succesfully and doesn't speak more than mama and dada. Twins are morw likely to suffer from speech delays anyways. Im a twin and i always spoke for my twin. Who had to do speech therapy for several years. My twin is mid to late 20s and speaka just fine. Eventually we figure it out. And if not we figure out a way to make it work! You got this!
