TIFU by saving a racist's job

So I'm guessing you think casual racism isn't racism and that I just have a stick up my ass and that the world has gotten to PC and can't take a joke? That we should be able to look over our shoulders and tell a black joke on occasion without being prosecuted? Does that about sum it up? But the detail I failed to articulate which would've given this more context was I defended him on multiple occasions when he was just about to be sent packing. As I mentioned in my post, he's a screw up and he's rarely done himself any favors. He's caused two major outages because of his absolute lack of attention to detail and our team went to bat for him even though we could replace him at the drop of a hat. Again, all because he's got some pathetic sob story and everyone feels sorry for him. So, yes, I'm mad because he keeps digging this hole, we keep pulling him out and instead of realizing how lucky he is and become better at his job, he pulls this shit instead. His boss is black. He has multiple black coworkers and at least three Asian coworkers - all of them who helped him do a job he should know how to do so many times I've lost count. Also, you give me too much credit. I'm not management. I can't ruin his livelihood with a sweep of a hand. He's already got himself there pretty much all by himself. Can I give that extra little push? Absolutely.
