TIFU by swatting a stinging bug in my bed, barehanded.

Early this year I swiped at a bug on my arm in my sleep. It "stung" my thumb as I was brushing it away. I looked all over the place for it and shook out everything on my bed. I figured it was a spider.

About a month ago we started renovating our house. Ripping up carpet out to put in wood paneling. As we are rotating furniture we discover bedbugs in every bedroom.

We've steam cleaned and sealed nearly all our clothes, bought mattress casings, thrown out nearly all our furniture, we have new beds sealed and waiting off site, and have been having our house completely sprayed multiple times. All our renovating is in hold until all the bedbug treatments are done. The last is Nov. 6th.
