Time for a Dry July!

It really does suck as a "coping mechanism" but Alanis Morissette said it best:

"WE LIVE, WE LEARN"

Positive coping mechanisms are probably one of the most important things we need to get a grasp with (& put in our kit/survival bag) to overcome the beast. One immediate one I learnt recently (if you haven't got time for a quick 3-5km run or walk) is to take a semi-cold shower & just stand under it for as long as it takes until your mind resets & the temptation to decide alcohol is the answer washes away.... (even if it takes 10-15 mins).

Hope you get through the next couple of days, don't forget you are very vulnerable at the moment because days 3/4/5 are the hardest, imo.
