We are animals on this planet and we have vastly overpopulated in some unloving ways that has led to people living on top of people all over the world. We are killing the oceans, other species, and preventing our own evolution.

Consciousness in humanity has been the latest iteration of evolution, the envelope. Consciousness brings choice and allows adaptation at a rate cellular biology could never hope to provide. However consciousness has allowed for a super predator in humans to emerge. This predator inclination goes nowhere but to self destruction. If we don't find a way to quell this predator element in humanity nature will swallow us back.

The gaian mind is the best way for me to describe this construct underlying all, though in the real it's nothing so formal, it's something that doesn't doubt much, and this construct of life knows exactly where we are going. This is simply human words around something very ancient.

Life has a beat to it.

Culture is this spinning top that is separate from the natural, we are lost within it. It will whir on its way and people will get lost in its gravity. Culture's control mechanisms are authoritarian and we will not find truth within it. Evolution will not continue until ego dies, equality rises, and we change the manner in which we communicate.

But yes, a culling is probably ahead of us, and this was communicated to me with sadness and likely inevitability.
