Look at this map. Tell me, why the shit would they have a name for these vastly spaced islands? Why the shit would they not include the islands of Kiribati? Why would they include the Northern-most islands of the Cook Islands but not include the rather close islands to the West, which are part of French Polynesia?

There's no geographic relation between these islands that makes any damn sense except in the modern concept of Cook Islands. If you're going to spout your opinion so strongly, at least check to make sure you don't look like a complete munter lmao.
