[Titanfall 2] [Gif] Ok, you got me hyped when I saw this

"Free" DLC... I suppose that's code for "free DLC but we're going to gouge you with microtransactions"? I guess I'm alright with that so long as it stays cosmetic only, but I don't think this game will sell enough to keep it that way. Overwatch sold a ridiculous amount of copies (and will continue to at full price), so I think they're alright with keeping loot boxes cosmetic. But Titanfall? Will it sell enough? Will EA keep their greedy hands off of it?

Regardless, I hate this sainthood that we're bestowing upon developers for so generously giving us "free" DLC. I'm a big proponent of paid DLC, actually. I think it's far more pro-consumer than "free DLC with microtransactions" because DLC is extra content that you're not entitled to with your purchase of the game. You download it as an add-on at a later date because it wasn't finished when you bought the game (or when the game came out). You never had the right to own that with your game since it didn't come with your purchase.

But I own every fucking thing in the microtransaction stores because it's on my fucking disc. And I shouldn't have to pay for the chance to get something that I should already have (or should be able to unlock in-game for free). This is such an anti-consumer practice and I hate that people suddenly want this to be a thing. It's fucking atrocious.
