Tomorrows Question Time

There you go again with the 'decent' thing ... it's not a very useful term, you know that, right?

It's obviously a personal 'turn of phrase' sorry. Some say 'good people' a lot, a tend to use the word 'decent'. I'll try and keep an eye on it.

A lot of people fucking hate him. Remember when he made that comment about AIDS-ridden immigrants? Lead balloon.

A lot of people adore Farage too. He may have 'net unfavourable' ratings but he also has the highest 'favourables' when you look at how passionate the support is for various individuals (e.g. on a 1-10 scale).

I know quite a few people who I've seen criticise Farage and that 'AIDS tourists' comment in public but then support it wholeheartedly at the bar after a round of golf too.

Or do you see a 'British Trump' as needing to be the leader of one of the Big Two?

I'm unsure; Trump tried to run before but found he couldn't do it as a 3rd party so had to run as a Republican (even though some of his views are 'Liberal').

Probably a similar situation here although I think it is harder for an 'insurgent' to appear within our political parties.
