Transgender inmate hopes to make history with transfer to women's prison

The fact is, neither I nor you are experts in prison security and most people really have very little knowledge of what security measures are taken and might be available in prisons.

So if prison officials decide to place a trans person in jail based upon their biological (natal) sex, you would not challenge their decision?

Of course, it is easy to make such claims when all your knowledge about prisons likely comes from American prison dramas

Please don't try to portray people with whom you disagree as being uninformed or misinformed like that. It comes across as a cheap and lazy personal shot.

I'd also point out that your reasoning with your previous example - that if someone commits a crime outside of prison, they will be capable of committing it inside of prison, despite the increased supervision and restrictions (and of course there is the notion that they might actually want to change) - is not reasonable.

Are you claiming that criminal acts are not possible in a prison? ...because I'm fairly certain that criminal acts take place in prisons, despite all the supervision and restrictions, etc.

I said, in the context of sexual assault, that they are more likely to be the victim than the perpetrator. I'd appreciate it if you didn't misrepresent what I said.

You did not say it in that context. You only said "usually they are the victims." I'd appreciate it if you didn't falsely accuse me of doing things I didn't do, please and thank you.
