Yeah cause catering to idiots is really hard to do. Trump is a smarty pants for that ain't he? I don't know if you are aware but catering to people's fears and being a bigot is not hard to do and not hard to cater to. My state alone had a similar candidate run for governor. He was open about taking away health care. But he catered to people's fears and racism towards Obama to win. And now republicans are crying and literally dying because they seem shocked he wanted to take health care away. Because he said he would get rid of Obamacare. But my state is so red and racist we had to rename Obamacare to get it to pass. So now they are double confused on how their (out of the blue) health care was related to Obamacare. Trump is only catering to these type of people (as they are republican voters) which is not at all hard to do. I could sway a whole nursing home by scaring them of Muslims. That doesn't make you smart. And don't even try to use his business history as how he is smart. His last name alone would have got him any job even if he was a retard sheep dog. Not to mention filing for bankruptcy 3 or 4 times and acting like he is not like other politicians because he doesn't have people dictating his views. But trump is literally one of the 1 percent of the people dictating what politicians say. That would be like the Koch brothers running for president and you people saying "they aren't like the other politicians because they don't have the money dictating them." Thinking trump is smart actually just means you have fallen ill to his manipulative ways.

I also have lived in a red state my whole life and have never really thought of republicans as all stupid. But with the cluster fuck happening in my state in the coming future I have witnessed first hand the idiocy that is the Republican Party. They literally are just a party of 1 percenters that shit on the middle and lower class but manipulate the uneducated to vote them into office to keep those 1 percent at the top. I can't tell you how utterly saddening it is to see republicans in my city walk around wondering how they are going to survive next year all while wondering "why did I vote for that jackass." Literally how stupid can a party be to vote for a guy who was open about taking health care away when you needed it. No other word best describes this other than stupidity. The Republican Party is going to shit and it scares me for what the future holds for the party I once thought could be logically. But every since that government shut down all hope has been out the window for republicans.
