TSMC halts new Huawei orders after US tightens restrictions

Huawei is building its own Fabs,

But meanwhile production is already being shifted to SMIC which is 100% chinese.

The problem is that the US destroyed its all manufacturing so its entire economy is based on services and intellectual property,

China consumes a lot of US products, from Starbucks and McD to Dell and Buick (yes, believe it or not, Buick is big in china). Everyone has the idea that china just sells manufactured goods to everyone else and buys nothing,

Meanwhile Chinese people eat Mcdonalds, Drive buicks and fly in Boing aircraft while working on their dell laptops powered by intel chips, and import large amounts of American subsidized soy.

The problem is that trumps little trade war is fucking all that over.

Chine has stopped importing soy from the states, People are going more towards european cars, the 737 MAX disaster is pushing people towards Boing aircraft, the Fabs which once made chips for Huawei, ZTE and other chinese manufactures will soon lose their business to mainland china manufacturers like SMIC. in 5-10 years Zhaoxin will be a viable competitor to Intel and AMD, 5 years ago no one thought that HiSilion could challenge Samsing and Qualcomm (or even mediatek) and now they are a top Tier Soc manufacturer.

The US wanted an economy where they can sit on their ass and collect on their patent while poor asian farmers do the actual manufacturing, and now those poor asian farmers make better shit then them,

Well, fuck em.
