U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson plans to skip an April 5-6 meeting of NATO foreign ministers for a U.S. visit by the Chinese president and will travel to Russia later in the month, U.S. officials said on Monday, a step allies may see as putting Moscow's concerns ahead of theirs

Awesome criticism of the Liberal ideology! I could not agree more. That is exactly the type of dogmatic thought I mentioned earlier. There is nothing rational in their agenda, it's simply change to make themselves feel good.

I believe european culture to be vastly superior, although being multicultural myself (us/eu) I can see some benefit to cultural exchange. I don't think islam has anything to offer us culturally. I do think that other, more advanced cultures may have something to offer. Maybe china? I admit I am ignorant when it comes to nonwestern cultures. Even american and european cultures have positive and negative aspects that could be exchanged or removed.

Race and gender don't have much to do with rhe issue (objectively), as a black woman with """"white"""" ( I hate to use this word, the importance given to the 19the century idea of race is one of the bad things of american culture) culture is sure to do better than someone else in her same situation but with a different culture.

Women have contributed greatly to our culture, despite their oppression, and they surely would have done more had men in the past let them. Note that I did not say "we", as I do not hold myself accountable for what people I have no connection to are guilty of. Fortunately things are fixed now, from an institutional point of view. What is holding women back is the gender role they acquired. Want to close the pay gap? Study STEM or finance, not social studies.

The reason I'm nitpicking over these things is because I want to be sure you aren't connecting superiority with """race""" or gender, but with culture. I'll preemptively assume that is the case and say I share your view. Identity politics is one of the most frustrating things about modern Liberalism, since what people choose as their identity often has little to do with what actually defines them. Again, lack of rationality and objectivity. As for your list at large, I have nothing to say, if not that I agree 100% with all of them.

What I do not agree with, is the claim that we have to "step back". If things don't work, we should step in a different direction, one that could mirror the previous state of affairs, but it is never a real step backwards. You make a good point, I think Burke said the same in regards to the french revolution, but you will find that stepping back often favors the elite. I think we agree on equality, right? It's what america was founded on, after all. Don't worry, I don't mean the "different is equal" or "equal and better" mindset of the Liberals. I mean the assumption that everyone has the same basic rights, and is born equal before society (or God, if you're a believer). Civil rights and prosperity for everyone. Now take the USSR. The solution isn't stepping back to tsarism, since it wouldn't really lead to more equality. Less death by gulag, sure, but not more freedom nor more prosperity. In fact, it seems they have moved back to a sort of tsarism. We know the right direction is another. That is why I am not a conservative. If there is no other way, then I will take a step back. I believe in the most rational choice. I don't do it out of conservatism though. Stepping back is not my default position, it's a step on the way to improvement in a different direction. I am conservative on some issues, but only because I think it's the fist step ina different direction. The Liberals are wrong in that they refuse to look where they are going. They just plow forward while happily going about their circlejerk. One last thing: the very enlightment, which gave us america and modern europe, was hated by conservative reactionaries. Your ideals are born of liberalism (lowercase intended), and you like them. That's why you should not resist progressives in general, but just the particular brand of progressives that we have right now, which I and many others, even on the MSM, are not a part of.
