U.S. senators ask Obama to declassify documents on Russian involvement in election

North Korea's nuclear tests set off seismic sensors around the world. Iran itself has released pictures of government officials touring nuclear facilities. I've never been that interested in immigration as a political issue so I can't really comment on anything having to do with that.

I'm not really sure what your point is. Not all information comes through the government. Journalists and news organizations? The situation with the Russian hacking has just been people in the legislative and executive branches saying "Well, it LOOKS like it was something they would do." I'm not saying it was or was not the Russians, but I don't think just buying the party line on this one (or any event) without any real hard evidence is a good idea; it's not enough to just drop your skepticism at this point.

We've had things like the Gulf of Tonkin, Iran Contra, Iraq WMD. Just as it might make sense for the Russians to hack the DNC or Podesta, could it be possible that we would want to pin this on the Russians to advance our own aims? To introduce new sanctions? To justify cyber attacks of our own?

I hope you can remain skeptical of both sides, we're all just people. I hope you can also remember the constant Soviet boogeyman that was presented through the later half of the 20th century, and all of the things that were done and Americans that were unjustly ruined with an excuse of DAMN COMMIES.
