Should I take a late W, or try to pass the course?

I've been having some personal issues lately, and that resulted in a lot of un-completed/ badly completed assignments. As a result, I got 4/48 (yes, actually) on the midterm. The MT is worth 20% of your final grade. Final is worth 30%.

I also did very badly on the written assignments (currently my mark is about 2/10 on those), with about half of them left in the course now - they're worth 30% total. WebWork is worth 15% (which I did seek external help on.. I'm looking at about 5/6 on those as a mark). Other assignments are worth 5%, and I'm currently getting maybe 3/10 on those.

Is it too late for me to try to turn my marks around, and get a passing grade? Or should I try to take a late W if advising allows me to? Do you get any refund on your tuition for the course? If so, how much gets refunded?
