Understanding the four types of AI, from reactive robots to self-aware beings

I posted this because it breaks down different types of AI. In my opinion, there is a divide that exists between really existing AI, like a better chess playing machine, and superintelligence or philosophical AI, like a Terminator Skynet. There is nothing in the former that suggests that the latter is coming any time soon. I'm not actually that interested in debating this claim here. I was more curious if anyone had ever heard this stated in a published article. This article, above, was the closest that I was able to find. It at least breaks down this nebulous "AI" into distinct categories. But it does not come out and say that the superintelligence idea is not related to existing AI. (One consequence of this is that asking AI researchers about superintelligence has about as much usefulness asking them about God.) I was curious if anyone had said something like this in a published article.
