Unvaccinated students to pay $750 'Covid fee' at West Virginia college, $500 at Alabama school

Have none of you people heard of a metaphor? It was not my intention to spread fear. I’m telling you what I have heard from my family members and people in my community being in the hospital every week. I never said that the numbers I used were accurate or how many of those people who are on ventilators are dying. I have attached the most recent data from my state, MS. It shows that there have been 26 deaths in 2021 in people aged 15-34 due purely to COVID. 22 more deaths in these age ranges from Covid with underlying causes. Younger people are still getting sick and in the hospital, that is a fact. I have known two young pregnant women in the past two weeks with no health issues who died from COVID in my area. My uncle is currently on a ventilator at the moment. A one year old that I babysat tested positive for Covid today, along with most of the children in his daycare. I very obviously used a known metaphor in my comment and never stated using data from my health department. I was just trying to say that there are many young people who are getting sick and more are dying. You can take my personal experiences with a grain of salt. You don’t know me and have no reason to believe a word I say, but my state has no beds left in our hospital and our total cases are up to 376,124 with 7,730 deaths as of August 11. There were 10 deaths occurring just from August 10-11. https://msdh.ms.gov/msdhsite/_static/resources/10682.pdf
