Someone will steal your badge to frustrate you. It also can lead to a write-up. After break we report to the board to see if we have been moved to a different area or job in the warehouse. Your badge is also how you notify management that you are present by flipping it from down to up. If you have no badge management could reassign you to another position and you won't know it ,because a lot of time they will be too lazy to rewrite or remember your name versus just sticking your badge on the new job title. I have had this happen a few times where I was threatened with feedback if I didn't report to a certain area in x amount of time, only to check the board and see that I was exactly where I was scheduled to be. It's also just petty stuff that goes on in a warehouse where a lot of my fellow associates are high and very young. When something like that is happening for months eventually it will start to frustrate you.
