Vizpick

My store switched to vizpick a couple weeks ago, and I work in dairy so idk about the rest of the store, but in my case:

You can create manual picks, but there is no way to pull them out of the bins, atleast that my store has found.

The bins arent seperated like they used to be, the steel going vertical is where the bin labels are now, so halfway on either side is that bin, and its the same bin top to bottom.

Adding depth is a waste of time if you have plenty of bin space, but if you're like my department you need all the bin space you can get, so double stacking is a lifesaver. One thing to keep in mind is if you DO add depth, its very important to vizpick every day, even if you dont actually pull anything out, if you dont scan the new labels within 36 hours the system thinks its on the floor, so you gotta go back and re-add the depth.

You print the sticker ( there is no auto-print btw) put it in the bins, and at my store we discovered its best to vizpick after but not pull anything yet. This way it puts it in the bin, and when they get around to scanning the bins at night it should be more accurate at what should go out.

My store has gotten better about ogp not doing that. It still happens from time to time, but our SM told them he would rather their pick rate be a bit slower and stock the case.

Its supposed to be done every day. I've heard conflicting stories on who is supposed to pick GM side, but cap2 is supposed to pick everything* and leave it for overnights to run. I've also heard though Overnights is supposed to do GM? However im in dairy so its not really my problem.

You cant dump the bins like you could before, but after 36 hours if a label isnt scanned it gets pushed to the floor. Also vizpick picks more aggressively, as well as each label being unique, so there really isnt a need to dump the bins anymore.

Something id like to add is that you CAN reprint labels. Backroom Tool>Vizpick>three dots in the top corner>reprint label. This helps because these new labels are VERY picky, so if they dont print PERFECTLY they wont scan.

Also dont use ogp labels, because while they do technically work they are harder to pick up. When putting the label on oddly shaped items, so items that curve, the label has to go on a flat surface in the bins, because again it wont read the labels if they have a curve to them, so if the label has to go in the middle of the package instead of the bottom left corner then so be it.
