Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping sign infrastructure deals worth billions in Moscow

All you did was prove my point. Yeah, the Soviet war against the Mujahideen.

The Afghan government, having secured a treaty in December 1978 that allowed them to call on Soviet forces, repeatedly requested the introduction of troops in Afghanistan in the first half of 1979. They requested Soviet troops to provide security and to assist in the fight against the mujahideen rebels

mostly composed of two alliances – the Peshawar Seven and the Tehran Eight. The Peshawar Seven insurgents received military training in neighboring Pakistan and China,[8] as well as weapons and billions of dollars from the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and other countries

The Afghan government, right in Russia's sphere of influence, asked for them to intervene. Then the US spent billions funding and arming the Mujahideen, alongside the Saudi's, leading to a drawn out conflict that killed over a million civilians. The Mujahideen then became the Taliban, the Saudi's began continued their funding and training, and set a perfect grounds for the rise of extremism and lawlessness in the region that would never have occurred if the Soviets held the territory.

So in the conflict you linked, the US did exactly what I said in my original comment.

flying Sending money and arms half way across the world, interfering in politics that are none of their business, fucking up an entire region, and leaving hundreds of thousands millions dead. And the entire region is still fucked up to this day

Oh yeah, remember the time the US also overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran? Remember the time the US ally Saudi Arabia supplied almost all the funding and personnel for the worst Islamist terrorist networks? Remember that time the West flew half way across the world to help overthrow governments in Libya and Syria, leaving both places anarchistic bloodbaths?

Yeah...

And then there was the time that Russia annexed Crimea without firing a single shot, with the overwhelming support of the population, and leaving it one of the only peaceful places among the wartorn East Ukraine. Yeah, we should totally get pissed and isolate Russia for that, they're totally a danger to the world.

You're going to accuse me of being a Russian shill or something, but it's not shilling; the Anti-US and Anti-Western intervention stance (Along with pro-Russian intervention) is so fucking easy to take if you're not a moron.
