VPD ticketing cyclists that blow through stop signs

... and when they ride up beside me when I'm waiting at a light, especially if I want to turn because now I can't because they're there, even though I was there first!

This I believe was made illegal. However, that also makes it illegal for a car to pull up beside a cyclist instead of waiting behind them, when the cyclist gets there first. I wish people would follow this law, because it is hella annoying when a cyclist cuts off a driver who wanted to make a turn, and it is more than annoying—it's dangerous—when a car pulls up and turns right in front of a cyclist who thought they had a safe and legal right of way.

AND WHEN PEOPLE RIDE BICYCLES ON SIDEWALKS!

Oh yeah. But to be fair, they put bike parking on the sidewalk in most places around town because apparently the cars are the only ones entitled to the road. I can think of three parking spots on the shoulder or within a bike lane off the top of my head, and everywhere else you need to get up onto the sidewalk to park.

Oh my god I can't stand that. When I lived in the suburbs I was always rather quiet and demure when out and about. Since I've moved to the city, I am the biggest bitch ever when I'm out walking and there's somebody riding their bike on the sidewalk. Granted those people likely aren't the hardcore "cyclists" that are part of that intense subculture here, but still. They're on a bike anyway.

What if they're going walking speed? What if they have nowhere else to travel to get to where they're going? Walking with a bike beside you takes up more space and can be clumsier than riding.

Kids also ride on the sidewalk, and that's for the best I think, as the streets may be unsafe, especially if they fall off their bike.

But if someone is just using Granville for a commute when Hornby is right over two blocks? A total jackass move.
