The Walking Dead S07E06 - Swear - Episode Discussion

[I wish Tara just died in the zombie sand avalanche on the bridge. I feel like someone just thought, hey, let's have the lesbian find an encampment full of women! Yeah! And one of them can look like Moana from the new Disney film. My kid loves Moana!

Why did Tara try to run away from her two guides when they were supposed to be escorting her back to her people? They have guns. Not a very savvy move considering they are placing a lot of trust in Tara to not betray them.

Why did she jump one of them with her knife in her hand when they had their back turned to her? Was she going to kill her? Try to knock her out? It was laughable that she was able to climb up that hill with all the dead leaves and branches without being noticed, as well. Mostly, Tara has no clear trajectory in that whole sequence.

She's cooperating. No, she was just waiting for a chance to get away. She got away, now she's going to lay low. No, she's going to go ninja on Beatrice. No, she's gonna get shot. No, she's going to get saved by the daughter for the third fricking time. We get it. Moana doesn't want to kill her! You are adding NOTHING to the story. I actually didn't even buy it the third time because Tara running away and starting all this shit made no sense to begin with. It would have made sense to shoot Tara in the head after that bullshit. Then Tara swears completely unconvincingly to keep the camp secret.

When the one guide has her at gunpoint and reveals it was the Saviors who offed their men and therefore Tara's friends are most likely dead or working for the Saviors now...THEN WHY DID YOU LET HER GO if she could potentially lead the Saviors back to your camp? To say nothing of leading two of your guides directly into the Saviors hands, who could then torture them for the location of Camp Salty Perch. /s]
