Wearing a mask in public

Please. The reason you need to wear a mask is to filter water particles that may contain the virus. If the filter doesn't do this, you will still get the virus. If a cheap, disposable mask gets wet, you need to change it straight away or it is not as effective. If the mask doesn't fit properly and you come into contact with someone sneezing and your mouth and nose are not properly covered, you will be at higher risk than a mask that fits correctly. Common sense.

Whats the point of wearing a bad mask? It would be more effective to keep a safe distance from people who could cough or sneeze onto you and wash your hands properly when you have touched things.
