Men's: Ring of Fire will take pool A, perhaps with some pressure but they'll get the job done. I think Truck Stop will land their semis spot in the first game of the tourney with an upset over Bravo. I think Bravo is still a very dangerous team, but Truck has had immense chemistry and practice playing with Current and Breeze these past few months, whereas Denver has not had that experience. Bravo will be jetlagged and the quick sharp movements of Truck could steal away the first game. Furious will upset PoNY for fourth despite their limited roster. PoNY holds out over Rakete.
Revolver will take pool B, relatively easy pool so they shouldn't have much difficulty. Goat will take the second spot into semis, not quite ready to jump on the Temper hype train. Ironside will fall to Great Britain in an upset and slot into fifth.
Bracket play: Ring beats Goat in a thriller, Revolver takes care of Truck Stop. Ring then upsets Revolver for the title. Truck Stop beats Goat for third. Temper surprises Johnny Bravo for fifth. Furious beats Great Britain in a thriller for seventh. PoNY upsets Ironside in ninth. Rakete beats Colombia to avoid last.
Women's: Brute Squad should take Pool A without much of a hitch. I'm not too keen on Scandal and think Traffic will upset for the second semis spot. I like Heist to take fourth, with Showdown sliding into fifth. In Pool B, this is a brutal pool, but I like Fury narrowly topping Riot. Phoenix will upset for third, Schwa will grind to fourth, and Ozone will land fifth.
Bracket play: Riot and Fury clear Brute Squad and Traffic. Their rookie classes are simply too powerful. Riot gets the better of Fury this time, and Brute Squad beats Traffic for third. Phoenix upsets Scandal for fifth. Schwa beats Heist for seventh, Ozone nails Showdown for ninth, and Fusion tops Nightlock.
Mixed: Most of the top teams here have lost key players. However, I think Drag'n Thrust retained an awful lot and is likely to clear the pool. Polar Bears should upset Wild Card, with Bird beating out American BBQ. In B, I think Slow White will capitalize and take the pool, with Chad Larson Experience in second. Seattle Mixtape looks to have downgraded but they'll still rally for third, with Cahoots nabbing fourth and Union in fifth.
Bracket play: Slow White beats Polar Bears, Drag'n Thrust tops Chad Larson Experience. Drag'n Thrust wins out with CLX finishing third. Wild Card narrowly beats Seattle Mixtape. Cahoots ransacks Bird. Union upsets American BBQ. Ellipsis beats Colombia.
