Weekly Raid Discussion

This isn't the largest issue, but it certainly doesn't help -- but your HPal is making some odd choices and mistakes.

  • They is running Aura of Mercy, which is objectively worse than Devo Aura
  • Azerite Traits for their current pieces:
    • 2x Bracing Chill Should be 0
    • 1x Avengers Might should be 0
    • Breaking Dawn is questionable
    • 0 Heart of Darkness, should have 2 with their gear
  • Over 40 Corruption:
    • Took 1.81mil dmg from Grand Delusion
    • Their corruption isnt good enough to be worth being that high
  • Running ERT minor is a debatable choice - they are probly doing it for mana, but you have 3x Innervates in your group. It shouldn't be needed
  • They cast Consecrate 30 times, when higher priority spells werent cast enough
  • Their Casts Per Minute of Crusader Strike is about half of what it should be
    • Results in their Holy Shocks casts being lower than it should be
  • 18 Light of the Martry casts - should be 0, or just a few at most
    • Would be mitigated if they had more holy shocks
  • They have about 1/4 the melee hits I'd expect - so he just isn't in melee range with anything right clicked
  • They aren't really helping with Crackling Shards, his damage on them could easily be double

The wipes aren't his fault, but I play HPal so it is easy to run through some of his errors.

Overall, you obviously need to avoid the early deaths. Having people die to Gale Blast, early Cataclyms, etc. isn't acceptable.

Adding to this, you have a lot of people running high corruption for a fight that is still progression for you. I realize removing corruption may actually lower DPS, but your raid lead should decide if the corruption is complicating situations and making the fight messier, which can be more harmful. There are 11 people taking Grand Delusions damage, 3 of which are healers. I would not allow that in my raid.

All you really need to do is cut that 3rd Crackling Shard phase off and then your fight timers will be much more aligned. It looks like you were very close to doing that in the kill - so you just cant have early deaths to mistakes and you'll be there.

Beyond that, I would encourage every player to post their logs, reach out to friends, etc. for analysis of what they are doing. It isnt pleasant to have someone tear your logs apart like I did for the HPal above - but even if just a few people improve, it can make a big difference overall.
