Regarding the meteor idea, I’m having trouble reconciling that from how it looked from my perspective:

• the flight path was essentially from my position to the horizon in front of me, as if the warp speed millenium falcon was positioned above/behind me and sped off over the horizon. There was no perceivable slope in the seemingly kilometres long trajectory.
• this was all happening low within the atmosphere.
• the object did not emit light on the surroundings, rather it was just this contained white bulb

Would a meteor burning up in low orbit travel in the ways I saw? There were no news articles at the time about a meteor or sightings or anything, and videos I’ve seen of meteors admittedly have some similar qualities, behave very differently.
