Originally it was supposed to just be Bio + Sven leaving, that was what Dlift was originally told. But once Regi had the opportunity to take both Zven and Mithy he did because the known pair is really good and it'd be a big risk to have Dlift + Mithy and it could have flopped the way Dlift + Yellowstar did.

Dlift was removed from the team because Regi would rather have Zven + Mithy rather than run the risk of Dlift + Mithy flopping the way DLift + Yellowstar did.

Dlift found out a little late and via reddit that he was going to leave which is shitty. But Dlift has said that while he was upset over having to leave TSM, he understood Regi's decision. It was nothing personal, it's just industry business.
