Well paid, but wouldn't mind a new career. Questions

Thanks for the response! I'm definitely feeling where you are coming from, so I've explored options within my company. I think (feel) there is a chance I could transition into a low level cybersecurity role, or IT generalist/app/whatever support role, directly supporting my current branch of the company.

If I was to transition, I could keep my salary in the 80-90k range. This transition isn't unheard of, especially with the experience and knowledge I'd be bringing from my current role (highly regulated, security focused, and very scrutinized).

That said, I have grinded the usual ds&a problems out of fun, so relearning them isn't the hardest thing to do. Maybe I'll haul the family to SF for my career at google! Hahaha
