What age do you think a man should legally be able to sever his obligations towards a kid in the case of paternity fraud?

I agree with you if a child isn't yours it isn't your obligation to support him but....

If you look at the USA the lack of a functioning state funded child support system and the fact that Americans seem allergic to any suggestions for any kind of welfare kind of make this arrangement a necessity ( not that I agree with it ) so yeah unless a system like that in Denmark is established in the USA i don't think anything will change.

But to answer your question I think he should pay if he is married to the mother (naturally) or if he was married to the mother and spent no less than five years with the child after the child's 4th year and only if the mother is unable to provide a shelter food and education to the child.
