Seems like a lot of women would hate their husbands if they weren't there during child birth which sort of makes sense I guess, but surely it's better for the husband to not be there than to be there and pass out, right? What if that actually happens? Does that not invoke the same visceral disgust in the woman?

I passed out during a surgery once, it was a trial day for me to get an assistant job there. Looking away didn't really help, it was like I started spiralling down into passing out. So idk. This is just not something I ever thought about, but it's not likely I'll ever have kids anyway.
