What are the best nightclubs in Kansas City?

Sorry but youre wrong here. Every venue has an owner/gm. They hire the dj and, 99.9% of the time, have rules and guidlines they require the dj to follow. Whether it be to play only what people know (top40) or it be no hip hop or it be only 80s and 90s. As a full time dj for the past 12 years, almost every single place has guidlines. And if you dont follow them, you wont be coming back. They are in it to make $$$ and also keep a safe atmosphere. For example, Mosaic used to be open format (5+ years ago) but they started having an increase in fights and cheapskates. Cordish called for a change. The djs and gm were replaced and for a few years it was uptempo house/edm only. No rap. Its still that way but he can play a little. But not much. In a perfect world, all of us djs could play whatever we wanted all night, but we have bills just like you. And unfortunately, that majority of weekend warriors arent open minded musoc they havent heard and only stick around if you play the chuckee cheese radio bubblegum that they know. If not, they go elsewhere. Or they come on reddit to tell people that that particular dj sucks.
