What are some mundane stories of your childhood?

One time, when I was about 12ish, my little brother and a bunch of his friends and kids from the neighborhood were playing outside my house. There were kids 9-12 everywhere doing dumb things and having fun. My family had just gotten a video camera, so I thought it would be funny to tie a fishing line across the little road cul d sac road and film it as one of the kids walked into it. I didn't think anyone would get hurt and I knew everyone, so it would be all laughs when I caught it on tape.

Well, there was a girl about 9-10 years old that wasn't a part of our group, she lived up the road and no one really knew her and she happened to walk in front of my house and sure enough the line caught her right in the face. She was just walking so it didn't really hurt her and none of the kids saw because they were behind my house at this point.

About 15 mins had passed and I decided to go out towards the main road and do it again because I wanted to get this super important footage. As I'm tying it to this tree, I see the girl's mom about 65 yards away yelling at me and kind of hurrying in my direction, obviously the girl told her mom and her mom was pissed. So I kind of pretended not to see her and I slowly started walking towards my house. After 10 feet I was out of her sight and I just booked it as fast as I could into my house. About 1 min later she is in front of my house and there's about 12 kids all running around messing about and she's trying to find out who the culprit was but none of them knew anything about it and I just filmed her trying to figure out who to yell at and none of the little kids could rat me out because they legitimately didn't know what she was talking about.
