What automatically makes you think "wow this person's a dumbass"?

When they're clearly wrong about something and they're clearly wrong about it because they didn't bother to fact check whatever the original clearly wrong dickhead spewed out.

Example: The new controversy over Metal Gear Survives "paying for additional saves" microtransaction. Everyone is getting all upset and pissy over this when in reality it's an online only game that is charging for additional CHARACTER slots, just like MMO's have been doing for about 20 years now. Instead of fact checking everyone is treating it like an evolution in companies screwing over gamers by charging for single player save files which ISN'T what's happening.

And of course thanks to stupid fucking YouTubers and awful subreddits like /r/gaming, the misinformation just keeps getting spread.

These kind of people are dumbasses, full stop.
