We had these little erasers in 5th grade that the teacher gave out for answering questions correctly or doing something well or nice. Well, these erasers were also currency that you had to forfeit if you had to go to the restroom (only if it was frivolous), eat at our desk, or for like 100 erasers you could skip a quiz or get an automatic A. Well we found the teachers stash. One of our buddies was the son of a cop and ex US army Ranger (3/75 if any of y’all are reading), and his way of bonding with Chris was teaching him how to shoot, carve, and lockpick. Chris got into the storage closest and grabbed one of the 2000 eraser bags.

Well now we were like bank robbers and if we weren’t careful and spent too much we would blow it. Well we were fifth graders so we started spending like crazy. This teacher wasn’t too bright and never caught on until we gave her all the excess erasers at the end of the semester.
