What is the craziest fact you know about space?

We are living in anomalous circumstances, whether or not we care to admit it.

This is only as true as our understanding of the universe allows it to be.

Anomaly implies that it defies statistical probability. I don't think you grasp exactly how large the universe is. For all you know, there are 14 other civilizations spanning across the vastness of space experiencing the exact same thing.

Moreover, there are a million things in this solar system alone that you can argue defy statistics. These arguments fall apart when you realize just how big the universe is.

I wouldn't even call it anomalous if there were a second naturally habitable planet in the solar system, because there's a pretty good chance that it's happened out there somewhere.
