That guy is going to eat a fast food burger and go to the office tomorrow forty grand in the hole. I'm going to be sitting in my penthouse eating gourmet nachos while I play video games all day.

Slot machines are where the old tired addicts hang out. They aren't even worth it. Taking everything they got would be doing them a favour. I like black jack. I have to alternate casinos every week for that one. The pit bosses give me funny looks. The games become more risk than reward these days. Its not worth my time.

I've got so many lotto winnings floating around that I've stopped collecting just to fuck with people. That's what I did when I first figured out my gift. I waited outside convenient stores and swiped their luck before they walked in. For some it was nothing, their lives continued on, maybe their mortgage went up or they got a flat tire. But others... well some people were living on luck. When I took that away: car accidents, bullets falling out of the sky, heart attacks, brain aneurisms, slipping and cracking their heads open, the list goes on.

The first time I ever stole somebody's four-leaf was when I was a kid. I accompanied my grandma to bingo every Thursday. Well one night, I bumped into a little Asian woman on a hot streak and the next round grandma's taking home five hundred bucks. I guess when my life is affected people share in the luck. Too bad I'm selfish.
