My ex and I had been broken up for about a month and he asked me to go on a walk with him. We lived in a very rural area so a walk is more like a hike. We walked along the creek and were having a normal conversation. As soon as we got far enough on the trail where we were out of range of being able to call for help or escape, he went full psycho on me. He brought up everything throughout our relationship, was very aggressive, calling me names and throwing rocks in my direction. I was very scared so I tried crossing the creek to walk back on the other side. He went in after me and held me in the creek apologizing repeatedly for his aggressive behavior and then begged me to marry him. All while I am trapped in a creek in the middle of the woods. He could have very easily killed me and no one would have heard or been able to help me. I ran out and away from him, soaking wet, he followed me along the trail screaming, once we got back to the lot he jumped in his truck and left me at the parking lot. So I walked for a couple hours towards town (still soaking wet) until a friend could come pick me up.
