Let me just preface this with I live about two hours away from my parents, and hadn't talked to them in about a week until this happened out of the blue.

So I was sitting in my room listening to music watching the music videos, trying to pass the time. First I put on Tiny Dancer by Elton John, and then I moved on to I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues. In the middle of I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues, my mom sends me a text thats says something along the lines of "You should listen to I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues, I think you would really like it". I thought that was some really weird timing so I called her and told her I was actually listening to it as she texted me.

Here's the weird part. Apparently, she was sitting in a Dairy Queen with my dad getting some ice cream when some dusty old radio in the corner crackled to life and started to play Tiny Dancer. She thought of me because she knows I like Elton John and after Tiny Dancer was over she decided to text me one of her favourites, I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues.

It was just really weird timing all around, especially because the radio inside Dairy Queen was off and it turned on without anyone touching it at about the same time that I, two hours away, started to listen to the very song it started to play.
