What did you learn or find out later in life than you probably should have?

I probably should have had my disability diagnosed earlier in life. But I somehow managed to live my childhood without knowing so it had a very little impact.

I didn't find out my step mother was step mother till much later in my childhood. But all of that came so much later to where it didn't make a heavy impact. But if I knew earlier maybe things would be much different?

(For anyone wondering I have a 22xl chromosome delation and an intellectual impairment so a lot of that stuff I probably should have known before I was in like year 10. Just my step mother didn't do what she supposed to but it didn't have an impact because I already had ways to cope with something I had no idea existed. ) Yet I wonder how different life would have been.
