Educational attainment and median household incomes in the South are worse than they are in the Rust Belt by a country mile with the sole exception of the fact that incomes in Georgia are roughly the same as incomes in Ohio. Beyond that, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennesee, and Florida are all worse off than Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Pennsylvania in every measurable way, and the region holds 11 more electoral votes than the Rust Belt.

Why the fuck do you think you are more deserving of help than we are? And what makes you think anyone is going to do a goddamn thing about it when they've ignored the South for over half a century? If you voted for Trump because you think he's somehow going to get your job back, I hate to break this to you but he doesn't really give a fuck about you. He got what he wanted from you, now he's going to go do what he wants. Trust me, the Republican party's been doing it to us my whole life.
