Your wife is incredibly lucky to have you. Make sure you tell her you’re doing this because you choose to care for her and be by her side, not cause you have to. Hire a cleaning service to do the deep cleaning for you. Make sure you give her a change of scenery, cause it’s easy to fall into depression when you’re bed ridden and stuck at home. Some other ideas are audio books, charades, 20 questions, looking at old pics, reminiscing & talking. Make sure she maintains her social support, and you also have a strong support system, cause it’s emotionally taxing. Understand that she might feel suffocated and want space at times as well. She might feel helpless & frustrated, be patient with her.
