What Fire Emblem fans are trying to point out [xpost from /r/Megaten]

Unit balance is not subjective. If Blazing Sword's only playable characters were Marcus and Karla and someone argued the game had terrific balance, that person would be wrong.

Yeah if you went around making up things that don't exist then in certain situations something subjective can be indisputable, still not objective mind, but indisputable. Funny that that doesn't apply here. What objective measure can you give me that fates doesn't have "terrific" balance?

I did not insult you.

You accused me of having a persecution complex

Here is a concrete example: many posts lauded the game for having the balls to kill off one of Kamui's sisters in a graphic way. This turned out to be false.

Ok so this one mistake somehow makes anyone who maintains fates has a dark story "misinformed" as per your original statement. Again, you moved the goalposts after I refuted your point. And I do not have to assume your position is more nuanced than the arguments you make.

You do feel Fates fans are persecuted. You have complained incessantly about a hostile atmosphere and invented arguments intended to make the game look worse, neither of which is true.

No I never said it was persecuted. I acknowledged the presence and support of those who were lying about the game to have more to bitch about and that the atmosphere around the game was extremely negative to the point of being ridiculous when I left. Both of which were true. People made up things that weren't true and touted them as talking points to condem the game. Also the atmosphere around here was hellish throughout the prerelease build up. The only reason you refuse to notice it is confirmation bias.

The "overwhelming atmosphere" was a positive one.

I say again, confirmation bias. You have been ignoring the many times this sub condemns the game and those who like it but take people who dislike your illogical criticisms of the game to be "radical."
