What is the funniest/most memorable moment you've shared with a complete stranger?

Was having lunch at a sidewalk cafe many years back with a girl I had just started dating.

Lunch was fine, filled in all likelihood with the inane banter of whatever it is a new couple chats about.

The memorable part though was when a kindly looking elderly lady wandered over to our table and in a very grandmotherly way proceeded to take our hands and put them together and say in an italian accent that that young love was a beautiful thing while cracking smile on her face that made me think she was remembering times long past.

Shorly after, a woman who appeared to be the old lady's daughter came over with a somewhat embarrassed look on her face and escorted her mother back to a waiting family.

That relationship lasted a good while, and while I have fond memories throughout and over the years, that one pure moment hangs clearly in my mind and stands out as something I will hopefully never forget.

Perhaps one day, decades from now, I might do the same thing as an old man if I see a young couple, and remember that moment from my youth so very long ago.
