Born Asian American. I'm not American enough to be accepted by the mainstream, but I'm too Americanized to get along with Asians who were actually from Asian countries.

On top of that, my parents gave me a bizarre first name that nobody can seem to remember. It's not an Asian name but it's a very uncommon English name. At least, I think it's English. Every teacher and former co-workers have struggled with it. I tell them the correct pronunciation but they always seem to forget it the next day. I usually gave up after a week and just let them call me whatever they think it is.

I don't even get along with other Asian Americans because they tend to be more friendly/outgoing while I'm introverted and don't really care for most things.
