what the heck is wrong with you all?

I agree that anybody who comes seeking Christ can and should be accepted. The whole argument is whether being gay is a sin, and I’m talking about the parts of the LGBT community that are proud of it. Being proud of being gay or transgender or anything else is being proud of sin and a rejection of God’s good gift. Part of repentance is trying to change and be better, so we shouldn’t sit here and tell people it’s ok to be gay. We don’t tell people it’s ok to be murderers, or to be proud of it. When Jesus forgives the adulterer, he doesn’t say go out and commit adultery again and come back to me. He says “go and sin no more.” The same should be expected of the LGBT community if they come seeking Christ.
