What the hell is going on with anti-Mica brigades?

Yes, because they are decent, polite human beings. It doesn't change the fact that it wasn't the right show to do that in. It was not according to the character of the show. It was a mistake. Should she do this on On the Spot? Or the Rooster Teeth podcast, where should would have taken up half of the episode? How about Dude Soup? She could have easily had an 8 minutes segment where she brought this up, then let the conversation segue back to back what the show is about, then set up a 3 hour Rooster Teeth Special discussion on race, gender, and politics.

Look, I know about this topic, and I can really relate to her. I am Inupiaq Eskimo, Alaska Native. My people number only in the thousands. I know what it means to be a minority, and what it means to be discriminated against. I constantly hear slurs against my people, in my home state where my people have lived for thousands of years. I have had countless family members commit suicide, and I know that there is anything but social justice for my people. My best friend of 15 years is also Trans Male. I know how discrimination is, but that doesn't mean that you should hijack any conversation to talk about it. I also suffer from depression and crushing anxiety, and I listen to this podcast as well as others like the RT podcast because they ease my anxiety when I am doing difficult tasks. I save it for when I am in some stranger's house doing construction work. Instead of having pressure destroy me and make me not able to do my work... I do the work with a smile on my face. I have listened to thousands of hours of Rooster Teeth content and it has always had this effect, until this episode. I had to turn it off. I do not listen to music when I work, but I had to this time, because the podcast that I relied on had nothing but stress instead of relief. While I care deeply about the things she was saying, I come to AH and RT for an escape, not ranting, and to be honest, she was not even doing a great job in her cause, she ended up saying some questionable things. I don't mean to discriminate against the young, and I am not many years older than her, but you do grow in tact and sensitivity as you get older.

Like I said,

I'd love to hear her lead a 3 hour conversation just on that topic, but not on the show that I go to specifically for lighthearted hilarity.
