What incident from your "younger" days seems like it came from a slapstick comedy film but actually happened?

As a teen, my parents went away for a weekend and trusted my older sibling and I enough to stay home alone. My sibling threw a (small) party in which he was discovered by a single cap of St. Pauli Girl beer, but that's the aftermath. I also, before the party, being around 14 years old, spent the entire night trying to score tickets from a radio station giving away passes to a small concert with my favorite band at the time (it was the station Y100, and it was their Sonic Sessions, and the band was Saves the Day). Turns out the entire night I had been dialing the wrong number, and was actually paging someone's beeper continuously, which carries a charge. Eventually I realized this and dialed the correct number and what the fuck do you know, I won Y100 Sonic Session passes to Saves the Day! My best friend's older sister took us, and I asked the lead singer if he was into surfing.

A month later my parents had to dispute the phone charges.
