What is it like to blackout? (Drugs, alcohol, medical issues, etc)?

I have passed out couple times in my life. One was on the tube in London. I know I told my bf we need to get off as I'm not feeling ok. Then i started to get tunel vision (everything slowly going black). My bf said I was looking at him with my eyes open very wide- my guess is because I was trying to see through the blackness.

You get this funny taste in your mouth, I can't really describe it and very lightheaded. And then I just went down on the floor.

I woke up for a second when he shouted at me but apart from that I remember nothing until they carried me out at the next stop, sat down on a bench and a kind stranger shoved a bottle of water in my hand.

It's definitely a funny feeling but when it happens I mostly just feel embarrassed and annoyed because it's an inconvenience and although I know I'm ok, I'm gonna scare whoever is with me.

However, it's very weird hearing about what happened while you were out because you were there but you weren't. Very different from blacking out drunk
